The short version: we set essential cookies only. Every cookie on this site exists to sign you in, keep your session secure, or remember a device you have already verified. We use no analytics cookies, no advertising or retargeting cookies, and no third-party tracking of any kind.
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser so it can recognise your session on later requests. They are how a site keeps you signed in from one page to the next.
All of the cookies below are strictly necessary: each one is set only after you take an action such as signing in, and each is marked HttpOnly (invisible to scripts) and Secure (sent over HTTPS only).

Because none of these cookies are optional extras, there is no consent choice to make: the site cannot sign you in or protect your account without them. The banner you may see on your first visit is a notice of this policy, not a request to accept tracking.
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Because every cookie we set is essential, blocking them will stop sign in, the customer account area and the licence portal from working. The public pages of the site will continue to work without any cookies at all.
If we ever introduce a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent before that cookie is set. The current version always sits at thessova.com/legal/cookies with the "last updated" date at the top.
